This policy explains how refunds work for Janulab products. All Janulab products are sold exclusively through CodeCanyon (Envato Market), and refund eligibility is governed primarily by Envato's policies.
1. CodeCanyon's policy applies
Refund eligibility is governed by Envato's Refund Rules and the Item Support Policy. In summary, you may be eligible for a refund when the product:
- Does not work as described or contains a material defect.
- Has a security vulnerability that we are unable to resolve.
- Was downloaded but cannot be installed because of a documented incompatibility.
Refunds are generally not available for:
- Change of mind after the product has been downloaded, where there is no defect.
- Failure to check the documented system requirements (PHP version, MySQL/MariaDB, Node, etc.) before purchase.
- Modifications made to the source code by you or a third party.
- Third-party services Janulab integrates with but does not operate — e.g. Stripe, Twilio, Mailgun, SendGrid.
- Feature requests or custom development you wish were included.
2. Janulab's commitment
Within the item support window — six months by default for CodeCanyon items, optionally extended at purchase time — we commit to:
- Responding to bug reports within two business days.
- Providing fixes for confirmed defects in a reasonable time frame.
- Updating documentation when an issue is rooted in unclear setup steps.
Where a confirmed defect cannot be fixed in a reasonable time frame, we will support your refund request to Envato.
3. How to request a refund
- Open a refund request through your Envato Downloads page. This is the primary channel and is required by Envato's process.
- If your request relates to a defect or unresolved support issue, email support@janulab.com and include your Envato purchase code so we can investigate in parallel.
- Envato will review and, if approved, issue the refund through the original payment method.
4. Timing
Refund requests should be submitted promptly after the issue is identified. Envato's review timeline varies; most cases are resolved within 14 business days.
